Bob is the Owner of Zide's Sport Shop for 45 years. He has been promoting
the enjoyment of athletics for decades. Bob has continually emphasized the
protection of the athlete. Bob was the first team dealer to fit helmets on
athletes. He holds a patent for the Shockblocker faceguard
attachment. Bob is responsible for many innovative modifications in
protective equipment. He has been the guest speaker at several regional
and national clinics. Bob has been a tremendous supporter of the OHSFCA.
He has been a major sponsor of the OHSFCA clinic since its inception. Bob
and his wife Anita, children Lori, ROdney, and John are continuing the family
business.
We honor Mr. Bob Zide as our Ohio High School Football Coaches Association
banquet program honoree.
